Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band Radio Bonzo Vol 2 CD

The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band (also known as The Bonzo Dog Band) was created by a group of British art-school students in the 1960s. Combining elements of music hall, trad jazz and psychedelic pop with surreal humour and avant-garde art, the Bonzos came to the public attention through a 1968 ITV comedy show, Do Not Adjust Your Set. Their hit single, I’m The Urban Spaceman’ was produced by Paul McCartney, they appeared in The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour film and recorded lots of radio sessions that feature unique versions of songs from their albums.

This, the second volume of the Bonzos radio broadcasts, has been lovingly restored, mastered and complied for release on compact disc. It includes previously unreleased material such as ‘Excerpt From Brain Opera Pt. 2’, unique recordings of tracks from the Bonzos Keynsham album and unique live recordings from the Bellevue Theatre, Amsterdam that were broadcast on Dutch TV in 1968.
